Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire (Alma Park Industrial Estate - easily commutable from Newark, Sleaford, Melton Mowbray, Stamford, Bourne and surrounding areas)

Package: £35,000-£45,000 annual salary (dependent on experience) plus bonus & company benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role: Based at our manufacturing facility on Alma Park Industrial Estate in Grantham, this role will take the lead in driving continuous improvement activity across the site, helping to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and improve overall operational performance. Working closely with production, quality and management teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, lead initiatives and support the implementation of structured improvement programmes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and review existing processes to improve efficiency, productivity and effectiveness
  • Plan and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and projects across the site
  • Apply improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen to drive measurable results
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to deliver improvement outcomes
  • Train and coach colleagues on continuous improvement tools and principles
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics to track progress and impact
  • Provide regular updates and reports on improvement activity to management
  • Work with leadership teams to embed continuous improvement into wider business objectives
  • Promote and support a culture of proactive problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Support quality assurance activities with a focus on a zero-defect culture
  • Support health & safety initiatives with a focus on a zero-incident culture
  • Support the site's ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

What you will bring:

  • Essential Experience in a continuous improvement focused role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement methodologies
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improving processes and performance
  • Experience supporting or working within ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and structured approach to problem solving
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with colleagues across production and operational teams
  • IOSH qualification (or equivalent) and a working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation

Desirable:

  • Formal Lean / Six Sigma qualification (Green Belt or similar)
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience delivering training, toolbox talks or improvement workshops
  • Familiarity with compliance systems or digital HSEQ tools
