Hours: Full time 37.5 per week Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00

An exciting opportunity for a Forklift driver / Stores Person has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the team based in Glenrothes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working to a delivery schedule
  • Pick/ pack a range of products for dispatch
  • Booking in/out stock
  • Work as part of the team from order confirmation through to dispatch
  • Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks and vans, either manually or with the use of forklifts or other equipment
  • Ensure goods are stored in the correct areas of the warehouse so that they can be easily located when needed
  • Keep accurate records of inventory and stock movements
  • Perform regular checks on forklift trucks and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

About you:

  • Counterbalance and flexi-truck experience and certificates are essential
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Demonstrates flexibility
  • Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
