Hours: 24 hours per week, across 3 days; Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 2pm - 10pm

We have an exciting opportunity for Class 1 Driver (part-time) to join the team. This requirement is to work 24 hours per week, across Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2pm - 10pm.

Role Key Accountabilities

  • Delivery to various Pitreavie customers and sites across the Central Belt and various areas
  • Drive Company HGV, and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation
  • Provide support to the Regional Logistics Manager and wider team, ensuring that all freight is loaded and secured safely for onward delivery
  • Provide a safe and professional HGV driving service for delivery of goods
  • Report any issues that impact deliveries and collections in a timely manner
  • Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks ensuring any defects are reported prior to operating vehicle
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
  • Flexibility in operating other mode vehicles inside of scheduled maintenance

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Candidates preferably to hold a LGV Class 1 Licence (minimum 1 year) however we will accept newly qualified candidates upon pass of an internal driving assessment
  • Candidates must hold a digital and CPC Card (up to date)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to function well as part of a team
  • Great attention to detail and attention to safety
  • Experience in a similar environment is desirable, however full training will be given
  • Flexible to Backshift start, ie 1 hour before or after
