Basic Salary: £37,000 (dependent on experience). Driver Efficiency Bonus (£2,100 annually). Up to 27 days holiday (+bank holidays & annual leave purchasing scheme). Additional Site/company Performance Related Annual Bonus.
Hours: 45 hours per week, 6:00am-4:00pm across Monday-Friday only. Multidrop: 8-15 per day.

We have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Driver to join our team in Avonmouth. This is primarily a Class 2 driving role, but we are looking for someone who also holds a Class 1 licence to provide holiday cover for our Class 1 Drivers. The role will occasionally include night shifts (up to 5 weeks per year), for which an increased salary will be paid.
HGV Driver – Key Duties:- Multiple customer deliveries in the local region (average of 1-15 drops daily)
- Drive Company HGV vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures & legislation
- Strap and secure your load using a Cargo system (a counterbalance licence would be advantageous)
- Provide a professional HGV driving service, to meet & exceed customer expectations
- Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedure at all times
- Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks (reporting defects) prior to the operation of any vehicle
- Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
- To cover the nighttime driver role, covering staff holidays (up to 5 weeks per year)
- 25 days annual leave (rising to 27 days with service) plus all public/bank holidays
