The company has an opportunity for an experienced Flexographic Printer at our site in Kilmarnock.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage flexographic printing machines such as a 10 colour narrow web servo-driven flexographic press.
- Prepare the press for printing and troubleshoot any issues during printing.
- Monitor printing processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, adjusting as necessary.
- Maintain inks and solvents according to types of material being printed and work order specifications.
- Ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and that the standards are maintained.
- Operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and set times to targets, recording and reporting in areas where this is not possible.
- Work constantly towards production improvements in methods, to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime.
- Liaise with the production manager to achieve best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage, while ensuring excellent quality, at best possible delivery dates.
- Work as part of a team supporting colleagues and sharing information.
- Follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Ensure teamwork and maintain safe working systems to keep personnel free from injury and operations safe and efficient.
- Ensure collaborative working within the Print Department via good communication.
