The Manufacturing Operative Role
Due to the continued success and growth of the Cumbernauld Corrugate Operation, we are expanding the Corrugate Factory Operations and are therefore recruiting for experienced Multi Point Gluer / Flexo Casemaker / Flatbed Die Cutting Operators to join the team.
Hours
Dayshift: 37.5 hours a week, working Monday – Wednesday 07:00 – 17:00 and Thursday 07:00 – 16:30
Nightshift: 40 hours a week, working Monday – Thursday 21:00-07:00
Manufacturing Operative Key Duties
- Manual handling
- Maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping
- Adherence to health and safety requirements
- Operating Multi Point Gluers / Flexo Casemaker / Flatbed Die Cutting
- Quality checking
- Supporting other machine operatives
What you will bring
- Ideally experienced background of setting, running and maintaining Multi Point Gluers / Flexo Casemakers / Flatbed Die Cutting (training can be provided, although pay-rate will be reflective of these skills)
- A practical hands‑on approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function well as part of a team
- Great attention to detail and attention to safety
- Ability to work under pressure
