Join us as a Sales Executive and you will become part of a business that has been established for more than 30 years and one which has a strong history of producing sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging.
The Sales Executive Role: This is a territory based (full sales cycle) sales role focused on delivering the highest levels of service to our customers. Covering the M5 corridor between Bristol & Worcestershire this role is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organization where you will be a key member of a small, dedicated sales team. Our role is a ‘full sales cycle’ so you will be expected to balance the management of an existing customer portfolio alongside focusing your efforts on generating new business sales to meet agreed goals & targets.
Sales Executive Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role will involve the following activities:
- Dealing with major customers to thoroughly understand their industry/sector, current state and positioning to match their needs and exceed expectations
- Developing existing and securing new customers to maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Proactively identify & target new business accounts
- Create a proactive business plan within your territory
- Take a consultative approach in delivering solutions to tailored individual customers' requirements
Do you have the correct profile? We are open minded to welcoming applications from a range of sales professionals, provided they have a minimum of 12-months field/territory-based experience (must be B2B) and can demonstrate some prior success in both account management and new business development. It is imperative that you reside ‘on patch’ (so within the stipulated territory area) and coupled with this, our ideal candidate will also have the following transferable skills and traits:
- Proven sales skills (comprising account management & business development)
- The ability to negotiate effectively at all levels
- Appreciation of excellent customer service and ability to deliver this
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within a B2B sales environment
- Sound IT competency (MS Office & CRM systems etc.)
- Honest with real integrity
- Tenacious, enthusiastic & determined
- First rate communication skills
- Good planning & organizational skill
- Able to work calmly when under pressure
