As our Logistics Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time, every time. Working within our Regional Distribution Centre, you’ll be responsible for handling stock accurately, driving forklifts, supporting efficient order fulfilment, and maintaining high operational standards. This is a hands-on role where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders efficiently
- Load and unload vehicles safely
- Carry out stock control activities, including counts and audits
- Process returns and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate system records and documentation
- Work closely with internal teams to meet delivery commitments
- Follow all health & safety and quality procedures
What you’ll bring:
Essential:
- Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
- Valid Forklift licence (ideally you have a valid licence/certificate (completed in last 3 years) for Counterbalance, Reach, Pivot-Steer, & Power Pallet Truck)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Team-focused approach with a positive work ethic
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Basic IT, numeracy, and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience working with multiple product lines
- Exposure to fast-paced distribution environments
- Experience liaising with internal departments
