Salary: £32,000‑£34,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + bonus & benefits

A varied logistics role with the best of both worlds. We’re looking for a reliable and flexible Warehouse Operative with a valid HGV Class 2 licence to join our logistics team. This is a primarily warehouse-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work but is also happy to step into a driving role when required. You’ll support our transport team by covering delivery routes during holidays and absence, helping us maintain excellent service to our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
  • Supporting stock control, inventory checks, and general warehouse organisation
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
  • Providing HGV Class 2 delivery cover when required (local multi‑drop routes)
  • Loading vehicles safely and completing delivery paperwork
  • Delivering a professional, customer‑focused service at all times

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Flexible approach – happy to work mainly in the warehouse with occasional driving duties to cover as required
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and team‑focused attitude
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
  • Valid Forklift licences (Counterbalance and/or Reach would be useful but training can be provided)
