HGV Driver β Key Duties
- Multiple National customer deliveries (average of 1-15 drops daily)
- Drive Company HGV vehicles Class 2 Trucks and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures & legislation
- Provide a professional HGV driving service, to meet & exceed customer expectations
- Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedure at all times
- Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks (reporting defects) prior to the operation of any vehicle
- Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
