We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will overtake a variety of responsibilities and duties such as:
- Maintaining standards of customer care
- Recruiting and hiring restaurant staff
- Training and overseeing food quality
- Serving restaurant guests
Requirements and skills:
- Work experience as General or Restaurant Manager in a restaurant for at least 2 years
- Coordinate daily front and back of the house restaurant operations
- Management skills and experience in both front and back of the house
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable, Sevenrooms, Fourth Hospitality, etc.
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
- Deliver superior guest services and ensure guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of wines
- Participate in local food events
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Manage and lead staff
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Manage restaurant supplies
- Control costs and minimise waste
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
- Strong communication and team management abilities
- Health and Safety / Food certifications
- Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
