The Site Deployment Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery, operation, renewal and resilience of technology and infrastructure deployments across Mace UK and international sites. The role ensures that site technology is deployed and maintained in line with Mace standards, supports business operations effectively, and is resilient, secure and fit for purpose. The role forms a core part of the Digital Services organisation and works closely with the Technology Director, Digital Service Delivery teams, and third-party partners to deliver consistent, high-quality site technology services.

Note: Candidate will be UK-based (London Head Office), with regular travel to UK regional offices (e.g. Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol) and international sites if required and should have right to work permit.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Technology and Infrastructure Deployment
    • Owning and managing the deployment of end-user technology, network, and site infrastructure across UK and international offices and project sites.
    • Ensuring all technology installations, upgrades and renewals are delivered in line with agreed standards, architectures and security requirements.
    • Planning and coordinating site technology rollouts, relocations, refurbishments and decommissioning activities.
    • Ensuring smooth transition of deployed technology into business-as-usual (BAU) support.
  • Operations, Maintenance and Renewal
    • Maintaining oversight of the ongoing health, performance and lifecycle management of site technology and infrastructure.
    • Ensuring assets are maintained, refreshed and retired in line with lifecycle and investment plans.
    • Working closely with digital support and services teams to coordinate local and remote hands support.
  • Disaster Recovery and Resilience
    • Owning and maintaining disaster recovery (DR) and resilience plans for site-based technology and infrastructure.
    • Ensuring site deployments are designed and implemented with appropriate resilience, failover and recovery capabilities.
    • Regularly reviewing, testing and validating DR arrangements, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into standards and designs.
  • Third-Party and Commercial Management
    • Owning and managing relationships with key third-party suppliers, including network service providers and hardware vendors.
    • Overseeing supplier performance, service levels, escalations and continuous improvement activities.
    • Managing commercial aspects of site technology contracts, including billing validation, cost control and renewals.
    • Supporting procurement and contract negotiations in collaboration with Commercial and Legal teams.
  • Governance, Standards and Assurance
    • Ensuring site technology deployments comply with Digital, Security and Health.
