Works in the Talent Acquisition function; leading one of Mace's 3 main business units from a TA standpoint, liaising with the senior leadership team and driving recruitment strategy. Will also be coordinating activities across all levels across the business, partners with hiring managers and builds relationships throughout the organisation. Utilises knowledge and expertise in talent acquisition to assist in hiring, meeting competitive hiring goals, delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) and managing expectations. Contributes across portfolio, includes the full recruiting lifecycle, identifying, interviewing and selecting the most appropriate candidates, internally and externally.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Will lead one of Mace's 3 main business units from a TA standpoint, liaising with the senior leadership team and driving recruitment strategy.
- Manages and supports the sourcing of talent in the market from across industry and where required specialist sectors to support talent and recruitment requirements.
- Coordinates and contributes to the sourcing of talent to align and support business and company requirements alignment to company strategy and skill sets, expertise and experience requirements and behaviours that match and support performance.
- Collaborates with the business and stakeholders and identifies/facilitates internal talent and promotes internal mobility.
- Promotes the use of and utilises a range of sourcing methods including social channels, media, CV searching and internal/external databases to source talent and meet business requirements.
- Manages and facilitates the generation and promotion of referrals from within promoting referrals and career mobility.
- Actively supports and guides job applicants through onboarding process and the provision of effective feedback.
- Manages and establishes prospects and bidding activity by pipelining unsecured roles.
- Actively partners with and supports Hiring Managers and the provision of guidance through the full recruitment process.
- Contributes and coordinates detailed proficiency and behavioural based interviews and interprets outputs.
- Manages the maintenance and monitors database of candidates records, maximising the usage of the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Develops and ensures processes are compliant and procedures are adhered for approval to hire process applicable to legislation.
- Establishes, creates, modifies and enhances adverts ready for posting to the external market.
- Contributes and manages reviews and monitors Power BI dashboards to ensure alignment and achievement of targets.
- Actively develops key working relationships and collaborates with third party partners to meet bespoke hiring demands.
- Provides mentoring/training to members of the team.
- Shares technical/functional/domain expertise to upskill capabilities.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
