Supporting the implementation and adoption of digital solutions across Cost, Commercial and Procurement functions, working closely with project teams and the Digital Solutions Lead. The role focuses on translating commercial and cost management processes into effective digital solutions (e.g. Aconex Connected Cost, CostX, Oracle OPC, reporting tools), ensuring that systems are configured, implemented and used in a way that improves consistency, data quality, and decision-making across projects and programmes.

The role is well suited to an individual with a Quantity Surveying or Cost Management background who is looking to transition into digital delivery, combining domain expertise with systems and data.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Work with project teams to understand cost, commercial and procurement processes and requirements.
  • Translate these into structured digital workflows, data structures and reporting outputs.
  • Support the implementation of cost and commercial systems (e.g. Aconex Cost, CostX, Oracle OPC, dashboards, procurement tools).
  • Configure systems in line with agreed processes, governance and reporting requirements.
  • Support rollout activities including testing, validation and transition to BAU.
  • Ensure data structures (e.g. CBS, WBS, change workflows) are correctly defined and implemented.
  • Monitor data quality, consistency and completeness across systems.
  • Support development of standardised reporting outputs and dashboards.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal and external teams on system use aligned to real project workflows.
  • Act as a bridge between project teams and digital teams to improve usability and adoption.
  • Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement based on user feedback.
  • Work with system providers and internal teams to track issues and support enhancements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of digital tools to better meet project needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through digitisation and automation.
  • Contribute to the Digital CoE through development of standards, templates and best practice.
  • Support pilots, proof-of-concepts and new tool adoption across all service lines.

You’ll Need To Have:

  • Specialist in one or more key/core Mace system.
  • Understanding the relevant core system such as Aconex, CostX, Oracle OPC at super user.
  • Background in Quantity Surveying, Cost or Commercial Management, familiarity with relevant industry standards such as ISO 19650, and understanding of construction contracts (e.g. NEC, JCT).
