We are looking to appoint an Integration Lead to join our Defence team in Cumbria, supporting the delivery of a high-profile and highly regulated Air Defence programme of national importance. This role requires a highly trusted professional who can operate with discretion, integrity and accountability within a secure environment.
Due to commence in late autumn to early winter, the position sits within an integrated client team and offers responsibility for coordinating and integrating activities across multiple projects, stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure successful programme outcomes within a long-term Defence environment.
This candidate should have eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC).
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing programme integration activities across multiple projects, workstreams and delivery teams.
- Managing programme interfaces, dependencies and critical milestones to support successful delivery.
- Coordinating integrated programme plans and ensuring alignment between project objectives and delivery schedules.
- Facilitating collaboration between client, consultant, supplier and delivery stakeholders.
- Monitoring programme performance and providing clear reporting on progress, risks and delivery challenges.
- Identifying, managing and escalating programme risks, issues and interdependencies.
- Supporting governance, assurance and decision-making processes across the programme.
- Driving consistency in programme reporting, controls and delivery standards.
- Supporting programme mobilisation, transition and readiness activities.
- Promoting continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the Integrated client team.
You'll need to have:
- Experience leading programme integration, programme management, PMO or complex project delivery activities.
- Experience managing dependencies, interfaces and stakeholders across large and complex programmes.
- Strong understanding of programme governance, planning, reporting and risk management principles.
- Experience working within Defence, Aerospace, Infrastructure, Nuclear or other highly regulated environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience in project management, programme management, engineering or a related discipline.
- Current SC clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain UK security clearance (SC).
