The project: Our client is the utilities provider in the South-East geographic area. Their purpose is to deliver services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long-term value for all.
Delivering multiple capital delivery and change projects across water programmes, ensuring governance, risk, cost and quality standards are met. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive effective delivery, align outcomes with business strategy and maximise benefits through strong engagement, clear communication and coordinated resource management from initiation to completion.
This role requires proven experience working in a project environment but not necessarily in a project management role.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering projects to agreed scope, time, cost, quality.
- Managing initiation, scoping and business cases.
- Defining deliverables, plans and milestones.
- Driving delivery, resolving risks and issues.
- Ensuring benefits realisation and effective handover.
- Managing stakeholders and clear communications.
- Coordinating resources and motivate teams.
- Supporting transition and embed change.
You’ll need to have:
- Recognised project management qualification (Prince 2, MSP or APM).
- Experience working in a project environment, with evidence to demonstrate involvement in:
