The Performance and Reporting Manager (senior) is responsible for supporting the PMO Performance and Reporting Lead with the review and development of a performance and reporting framework, including the development of processes and procedures, systems and controls, and reporting templates to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the performance of the AMP8 Framework.

The role holder is responsible for supporting the team in ensuring that the performance and reporting framework is complied with across the project and that reporting deliverables and associated performance analysis adhere to relevant quality and standards. Furthermore, the role holder is responsible for supporting the establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), overseeing the gathering of programme data including reporting project performance. Ensuring effective implementation of the quality management system, meeting all statutory, legal and contractual requirements. Engages stakeholders to drive compliance, strengthen risk management and support a resilient, high‑performing business. Acts as a key enabler of organisational change and continuous improvement.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting in establishing Programme Controls reporting requirements and formats for the AMP8 Framework.
  • Developing forms and tools for collecting project and programme status information.
  • Coordinating production and distribution of key weekly / monthly / quarterly reports.
  • Supporting in establishing and maintaining the weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting calendar.
  • Supporting the design, implementation, and governance of the programme’s performance reporting framework.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of reporting analysts and engineers, ensuring high-quality outputs and professional development.
  • Overseeing the development and delivery of programme-level reports, dashboards, and performance insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with project controls, finance, risk, and delivery teams to ensure integrated and consistent reporting.
  • Maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic objectives and delivery milestones.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in reporting.

You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area e.g., engineering, construction, project management.
  • Project Management Certification from the Project Management Institution i.e. PRINCE2, PMI, PMP, CAPM.
