The project: Our client is the utilities provider in the South-East geographic area. Their purpose is to deliver services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long-term value for all.
You will work within capital delivery, and you will work with project teams in a collaborative environment interacting positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the simultaneous delivery of a number of water and water recycling projects and/or programmes within their AMP8 programme. The role will ensure our clients project governance procedures are followed including risk, cost and change control and will work collaboratively with other teams across the business to deliver projects.
Please note: This role will be based in Peterborough on-site.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Booking meeting rooms for all meetings.
- Creating agendas; minute taking, chasing actions and distributing minutes.
- Coordinating and updating monthly progress ratings.
- Supporting monthly reporting.
- Contributing to the preparation of internal and external presentations - monthly team meeting etc.
- Updating email circulation list for project.
- Arranging internal and external events.
- Developing working relationships with (range of) internal stakeholders.
- Performing generic clerical duties for the senior and wider team.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have:
- Strong IT skills covering Access, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Experience in using web-based applications/software.
- Knowledge and use of office management systems.
- Experience in building lasting client relationships and providing support to strong, motivated teams.
- Experience working in an Infrastructure environment.
- A history of coordinating project admin and administration of the staff and security arrangements.
