The project

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing a new service line within the Mace consult business. The Construction Management Office will offer ongoing construction planning and coordination expertise, providing clients with focused and detailed information to support informed decision-making. The project is a major UK infrastructure initiative and represents the latest step in creating a standard product to address the UK’s energy needs. The Construction Management Office will facilitate multiple inputs and align delivery plans and programmes with specialist strategies, development consent orders, planners, and other stakeholders, bringing clarity to this complex stakeholder group. It will also establish a framework for standardisation and procedures, as well as provide long-term construction assurance to meet CDM requirements. It will interface with the Project Management Office and will be at the forefront of developing digital tools and solutions to meet tomorrows construction information and tracking needs. You’ll also have

  • Membership of MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Construction sector.
  • Deep construction management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
