The project Cadent’s integrated security solutions programme (ISSP) is a multi‑year transformation initiative designed to strengthen the organisation’s physical, cyber, and operational security posture through a unified, intelligence‑led approach. The programme brings together previously siloed security capabilities - ranging from asset protection and access control to digital threat monitoring and incident response - into a single, coherent framework that enhances resilience, compliance, and operational efficiency across the gas distribution network.

Managing projects to achieve agreed outcomes on time, within budget and to defined quality standards. Provides day‑to‑day leadership, aligning teams and stakeholders to project objectives and KPIs. Manages fees, risks and changes effectively to ensure controlled, successful delivery.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Championing a safe, inclusive culture, applying Mace’s HSW framework and promoting wellbeing across teams.
• Managing end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring quality, programme alignment and timely outputs for senior leaders and clients.
• Managing budgets, risks and performance, driving sustainable, value‑led outcomes.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and best practice to achieve strategic KPIs.
• Managing collaborative, multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects to scope, programme and quality expectations.
• Overseeing design, stakeholder coordination, procurement and delivery, ensuring robust planning, risk management and governance.
• Driving safety first behaviours and uphold Mace’s standards and service excellence.
• Managing resources, budgets and project controls, ensuring timely decisions, effective communication and successful handover.

You’ll Need To Have

• Proven gas project delivery experience.
• Strong leadership in safe, compliant delivery to time, cost and quality.
• Skilled in programme, budget, SHESQ and risk management.
• Effective stakeholder and contractor coordination across complex interfaces.
• Promotes a proactive, positive safety culture.
