The project:
Hinkley Point C (HPC) is a significant nuclear power station project located in Somerset, England. It is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years and represents a major step towards achieving the country\’s energy security and carbon reduction goals.
The plans involve major construction work, management services, and NEC contract management. Hinkley Point C nuclear plant is set to produce energy that will service a phenomenal 5 million homes when it becomes fully operational. This equates to an overall 7% of UK total energy requirement, placing it in high national interest.
