Overview Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. You would work closely with the Stakeholder and Communications Lead to support delivery of the programme. Location for this role is flexible however it may require travel to a client office 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective stakeholder management and communications strategies, plans, processes and tools.
- Identifying and mapping stakeholders across the programme.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Supporting the integration of various disciplines across the programme as well as consultants and contractors.
- Providing advice to the Programme team on stakeholder and communications standards, process and tools.
- Tracking progress against KPIs and supporting governance and reporting for stakeholder management and communications.
- Working collaboratively to recognise opportunities, escalating and help mitigate issues, and achieve key objectives.
- Providing line management and guidance to more junior resources.
- Innovating and aligning with industry best practice to ensure continued service excellence.
- Aligning with the communications strategy and supporting on communications campaigns as required.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience or equivalent supporting the delivery of stakeholder management and communications.
- Strong consultancy skills, simplifying complexity, influencing senior stakeholders amid ambiguity.
- Knowledge of infrastructure lifecycle, best‑practice methodologies, and digital tools including CRM/SRM.
- Degree‑qualified professional, resilient collaborator, exemplifying Mace behaviours and managing competing priorities.
