The project: As delivery partner on the Ministry of Justice’s Capacity Programme, Mace’s MoJ team have been supporting the MoJ’s estate for more than a decade. Our team deliver a wide range of professional services across multiple estate expansion and improvement projects for the MoJ. This opportunity is within our strategic integration team. Strategic Integration focuses on continuous improvement, consistency, collaboration and knowledge, supporting our client and Mace colleagues across the whole portfolio of MoJ works.

Occasionally, strategic integration provides project management support service to projects in the programme that have a short-term requirement. We are searching for a highly motivated, proactive Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will seek out opportunities for the team to add value to the Mace commission; lead workstreams and develop junior delivery staff.
Please Note: This role will be in London and requires security clearance to a minimum of BPSS (or be able to obtain).
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing end‑to‑end project delivery, aligned to client outcomes and strategic milestones.
- Applying specialist knowledge and Mace best practice to drive excellence.
- Supporting strategic leaders through coordinated task and portfolio delivery.
- Driving collaboration, communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Managing budgets, risks and sustainable outcomes responsibly.
- Managing risk, programme and design management across the lifecycle.
- Ensuring quality systems, supplier performance and NEC4 delivery excellence.
You’ll need to have:
- Eligible for BPSS clearance; adaptable problem‑solver managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Collaborative, improvement‑focused professional with strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Proven public‑sector project delivery experience, with property or infrastructure expertise.
- Professional membership preferred, with strong governance, commercial and sustainability awareness.
