The project: Our client is the utilities provider in the South-East geographic area. Their purpose is to deliver services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long-term value for all.
Driving collaborative delivery of water and recycling projects across the AMP8 programme, overseeing governance, risk, cost and change control. Manages allocated reservoir assets to meet safety, schedule, budget and regulatory milestones, supporting DCO approvals and future procurement for major reservoir infrastructure under nationally significant programmes.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the Site Delivery Lead in delivering the enabling works strategy.
- Coordinating scope development across enabling works packages.
- Aligning land access and third-party requirements with delivery plans.
- Managing planning applications and consent conditions.
- Tracking access to land parcels and approvals.
- Monitoring budgets and programme performance.
- Overseeing design management and NEC scope development.
- Identifying risks, opportunities and constructability improvements to optimise delivery.
You’ll need to have:
- CIOB/APM or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5/10 years experience working on major programme or projects.
- Previous Enabling Works experience with preference to include highways, rail, environmental mitigations, utilities.
- Engineering/Construction background preferred. Infrastructure experience preferred, but not essential.
