Accountable for managing the planning function across projects and tenders, ensuring effective scheduling, monitoring, and control. Supports project delivery to achieve timely and profitable outcomes, with responsibility for planning medium to high-complexity projects, portfolios, or key sections of major programmes.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning all aspects of the planning process including the integrated programme, critical paths, client programmes and the analysis and acceptance of contractor programmes.
- Ensuring cost loading of programmes to the appropriate level of cost and progress capture.
- Analysing contractor programmes and providing feedback to project management including run rates, schedule risks and mitigation measures/opportunities.
- Ability to lead all aspects of contractual management for programme related events.
- Directing key assignments, strengthening planning performance, and ensuring effective project scheduling and monitoring.
- Supporting strategic development, due diligence, and sustainable business growth.
- Fostering collaboration, sharing best practice, and building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
You’ll need to have:
- Degree qualified with seven years’ relevant experience in linear infrastructure delivery.
- Professional membership or equivalent development.
- Strong planning and infrastructure project expertise.
- Proven commercial acumen and senior stakeholder management.
- Experienced leader with sustainability and carbon awareness.
