You’ll be responsible for

  • You will be expected to deliver a number of projects or sub projects working closely with the Digital Lead. A list of typical tasks to perform as part of this role will be:
  • To manage aspects of digital solution delivery and operation on client-facing projects to enable the project/programme team to work efficiently and effectively and get access to the data they need.
  • You will also be required to keep documentation up to date and assist with regular reporting for the Digital lead.
  • To utilise an appropriate body of knowledge (e. g. the Mace Way) project delivery methodology, standards, and templates.
  • Gathering requirements from project colleagues and business users and understanding the client needs.
  • Helping the Digital Lead to develop strategies, plans, and data and system architecture.
  • Project managing key elements of software and solution life cycle.
  • Working with colleagues and peers as part of a development and support team.
  • Supporting the IPMO and client with developing support strategies.
  • Liaise with partner IT functions; and other stakeholder IT functions; client and supply chain partners.
  • To engage seamlessly with other teams within the client project eco-system.
  • Understand and follow and set up governance models.
  • Develop and keep your business and technical knowledge and networks current and continuously improving.
  • Project manages a number of projects and sub projects.
  • Other responsibilities may include supplier management, elements of budget control and cost tracking for Digital elements.
  • Contribute to the Digital Centre of Excellence including body of knowledge, process and case studies.

You’ll need to have

  • The suitable candidate will likely have 5+ years of relevant IT Project Management experience is expected.
  • Experience of implementing the strategy and delivery of the digital systems, technologies, and services for client projects and programmes, to enable and support the project delivery teams and to ensure an efficient and successful project/programme.
  • Where they have managed a number of sub-project areas and tasks assigned by the project/programme.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A firm commitment and apply knowledge of the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018/GDPR.
  • Being flexible with working patterns.
  • Experience as a Project Manager on one or more previous major construction projects or programmes.
  • Experience with PMO software or construction software.
  • Strategic thinking and planning related to technology.
  • Experience of software selection and implementation.
  • Experience of technology supplier management and software procurement.
  • System and enterprise architecture.
  • Handover to IT Operations.
  • IT Project Management capabilities and qualifications.
  • Project budgeting and cost management.
  • Business analysis.
  • Experience of technology and software used in the real estate and construction project management sector.
  • Good stakeholder management.
  • Information security, data protection and risk assessment.
