This is a hands-on, cross-functional role working with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cyber security, data, programme delivery, commercial/procurement, and client-facing teams to shape scalable, secure and supportable solutions that balance business value, technical quality and speed across a diverse ecosystem.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Defining and maintaining target-state technical solution architectures across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Oracle Fusion, including infrastructure, networks, identity, end user devices, integrations and environments.
- Working closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into scalable, supportable and secure end-to-end solutions.
- Managing infrastructure solution design for global enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment to architecture standards, service requirements and delivery roadmaps.
- Establishing and governing architecture principles, patterns and design decisions across cloud, software as a service and line-of-business platforms.
- Collaborating with security, data and infrastructure teams to ensure non-functional requirements such as resilience, performance, compliance and operability are built into solutions.
- Supporting vendor and implementation partners through architecture reviews, solution assurance and design governance.
- Contributing to environment strategy, release planning, transition to support and continuous improvement across core digital platforms.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding investment decisions, architecture trade-offs and delivery priorities.
- Solution architecture leadership: target-state architecture, design authority, cross-domain decisions, integration governance and vendor.
You’ll need to have:
- 10+ years of enterprise technology experience.
- 5+ years in solution architecture or closely related architecture roles.
- Experience of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Oracle Fusion ecosystems.
- Experience designing enterprise solutions for global organisations across multiple business functions.
- Experience of working as an end-to-end Solution Architect within a complex technology transformation.
- Broad understanding of the components that comprise the enterprise application landscape in medium to large organisations.
- Expert knowledge of architecture principles, patterns, methods and standards.
