The project involves working within a life sciences programme, delivering critical national infrastructure for a central government client. We are looking for a Project Manager to support in the delivery of secured projects within the programme of works.

The role involves full project lifecycle ownership, from design and planning through delivery, commissioning, and handover, ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical understanding of electrical systems, competency in overseeing civil interfaces (e.g., drainage, foundations, ducting), and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across complex infrastructure environments.

This role will be based on our client's site in Weybridge, Surrey minimum 3 days per week, and occasionally Moorgate, London. This role will require the successful candidate to pass both BPSS and SC clearance.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of electrical infrastructure and substation projects.
  • Managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety and risk.
  • Coordinating designing, engineering and construction stakeholders.
  • Overseeing contractors to meet technical and contractual standards.
  • Monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions.
  • Engaging and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • Ensuring governance, safety and compliance.
  • Managing budgets, forecasting and commercial processes.

You’ll need to have:

  • Degree-qualified engineer with strong civil-electrical interface knowledge and major infrastructure experience.
  • Proven project delivery capability in regulated, safety-critical environments with NEC contract awareness.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, governance and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Strong technical, commercial and risk management understanding with professional accreditation desirable.
