The project: Be a part of our Consultancy Procurement and Supply Chain business that spans our five global hubs, where you can lead and oversee work for world leading organisations across the public and private sectors. We provide our clients with real value by providing detailed procurement advice across a range of subject matters, in a range of ways.

The team works in collaboration with our clients across multiple sectors to implement innovative and best practice procurement, Category Management and supply chain solutions supported by the key principles of responsible/ethical procurement practices, service excellence tools and supply chain modelling/engagement. Our core offices are London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Winchester.

As well as the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects, we will work with you to help develop your skills as you build your career with us at Mace.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the management and delivery of end-to-end procurement exercises including:
    • Prequalifying management via standard selection questionnaire process.
    • Drafting tender documents.
    • Tendering issuance and management (via approved online portals such as ProContract).
    • Assisting in the management of the evaluation process.
    • Assisting in the development of procurement strategies if requested.
    • Client advisory services on procurement and supply chain process and policy.
    • Providing support and coordination relative to the reporting requirements of the project including various briefing notes as necessary.

You’ll need to have:

  • Full membership or are studying for the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Management.
  • A good understanding of public procurement regulations and practices.
  • Good presentational skills and can present complex data in a succinct way.
  • Experience in the prequalification and tender management process and evaluation.
  • Willing to learn and apply yourself to a process orientated procurement delivery plan.
