We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Superintendent to act as the senior on‑site client representative during the construction phase of a major regeneration project. This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role, providing authoritative site presence to ensure works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, and in line with programme and contractual requirements.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Acting as the senior client representative on site, providing visible leadership across all site-based supervision activities.
  • Driving main contractor performance on programme, quality, safety, and sequencing through daily engagement and oversight.
  • Ensuring construction works comply with statutory requirements, approved designs, specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Managing the integration of specialist and direct‑let packages, managing complex interfaces, logistics, and site coordination.
  • Overseeing site logistics, access, and lifting operations in line with the logistics management plan.
  • Monitoring and reporting on site progress, risks, quality, and safety performance, escalating issues as required.
  • Managing site involvement in commissioning, handover, and defects management activities.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for site-based issue resolution and stakeholder coordination.

You’ll need to have:

  • Significant experience in site-based construction supervision on large or complex projects.
  • Strong technical construction knowledge with the ability to challenge methodologies and sequencing.
  • Proven ability to lead contractors and manage multiple interfaces on live construction sites.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and coordination skills.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, handover, and defects periods.
