Manage carbon strategy and estimation for a major infrastructure programme. Develop whole-life carbon methodologies, drive low-carbon innovation, and ensure transparent carbon accounting. Manage a specialist team, engage stakeholders, and influence decisions to meet sustainability targets while supporting business growth through bidding and client relationship development.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Develop carbon estimation frameworks and tools.
  • Embed carbon considerations into design and delivery.
  • Apply whole-life carbon and cost assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with carbon standards and best practice.
  • Drive innovation to reduce carbon impacts.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and stakeholders.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Degree in environmental or sustainability discipline.
  • Chartered environmentalist or equivalent professional membership.
  • Proven experience leading carbon strategy on major projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PAS 2080, ISO 14001, and UK regulations.
