The Business Change Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the successful implementation of organisational change across Sizewell C’s transformation Portfolio. This individual is responsible for ensuring that projects are assessed for their impact on people, culture and the wider organisation and that their intended adoption-related benefits are fully realised.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Developing and executing a Business Change management strategy for the Transformation Portfolio, embedding SZC’s Business Change methodology into programmes and projects.
  • Conducting organisation readiness planning to ensure programmes and projects are supported by clear, structured change approaches.
  • Analysing business needs through impact assessments, contributing to evaluation, prioritisation and risk mitigation within the Transformation Portfolio, and enabling the design of effective change solutions.
  • Driving stakeholder engagement and adoption, working closely with all levels to ensure changes to processes, systems, and structures are effectively communicated, embedded, and sustained.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional programme and project teams to support the training and capability building required, helping users understand and adopt the new ways of working.
  • Developing and maintaining a Business Change heat map to identify areas at risk of change overload and proactively manage adoption challenges.
  • Tracking and reporting people-related benefits and risks, ensuring assurance across the portfolio and providing expert guidance on best-practice change principles.
  • Partnering with Programme and Project Managers, PMO and workstream leads to ensure change management is integrated into programme governance and delivery.
  • Collaborating with the SZC Change Agent Network to strengthen relationships and champion change initiatives across the organisation.

You’ll Need To Have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, unafraid to speak up for others when the need arises.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to influence and inspire others to embrace change.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, enabling successful business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in Business Change Management/transformation roles within Portfolio, Programme and Project delivery structures.
  • Proven experience of delivering Business Change Management in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Business Change delivery using standardised methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
