Responsible for working with external outsourced payroll vendors to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and benefit services for the UK, European and expat/shadow payrolls.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of UK, European and expat/shadow payrolls with external outsourced payroll vendors.
  • Maintaining standard payroll processes and operating procedures in line with managed service vendor delivery.
  • Supporting the collation and distribution of audit and compliance related activity.
  • Implementing audit approved process improvements.
  • Managing payroll projects/processes as and when required including UAT testing.
  • Supporting HR transformation projects where there is a payroll or benefits management requirement.
  • Managing MyHR Tier 2 escalated payroll and benefit queries through to resolution which are complex and require more technical knowledge, working with external vendor where required.
  • Developing working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders - Finance, Global mobility, Reward and Tax teams.
  • Working closely with HR Services to support continuous improvement activities.
  • Delivery of benefits transactions and associated administration across UK and European payrolls.

You’ll need to have:

  • MS skills: Word, PowerPoint and Excel: presenting high quality reports, presentation and accurate payroll and data to diverse audience.
  • Experience of working on across European payrolls and benefits.
  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment or role in Payroll and Benefit capacity (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working both in a managed service and in-house payroll delivery structure.
  • Working with Oracle system.
  • Demonstrated vendor partnership.
  • Comfortable and confident with complex payroll and benefit queries and working independently.
  • Experience in creating relationships with and being able to collaborate with stakeholders having an overall customer satisfaction mind-set.
  • Experience working within large global organizations.
  • Ability to challenge when required and adhere to legislative guidelines.
  • Ability to multitask to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Ability to work at pace - demonstrable experience of managing and prioritizing competing demands ensuring deadlines are met without loss of standards.
  • Solution focused with excellent attention to detail, prioritisation and organizational abilities.
  • Management of routine, complex and diverse payroll and benefit matters.
  • Customer focused and results driven.
  • CIPP Degree or equivalent or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development as it relates to Payroll and Benefits.
  • Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of UK and local country payroll, benefit and employment law to support employee payroll and benefit enrolment with vendors and appropriate query handling and advice.
  • Experience in reconciliations and or payroll control processes.
  • Experience working within large global organisations.
  • Experience of communicating - written and oral, complex Payroll and Benefit matters succinctly, concisely and clearly.
  • Build and maintain strong and credible stakeholder relationships with a customer satisfaction mind-set.
  • Previous experience of working in a shared service centre (HR/or payroll).
  • Pension experience of auto-enrolment.
  • Project Management.
