The Programme Development team covering the Desalination and Colchester projects requires an Associate Director to service and support the in‑house commercial and procurement teams in place.
Services Required
- Commercial Support in Cost Management for the Colchester AWRC and Demonstration Centre projects.
- Contract Management Services to support administration of NEC form contracts.
- Procurement lead/specialist services, across both Desalination and Colchester.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Providing strategic leadership to deliver client commitments, managing contracts, risk and commercial outcomes.
- Upholding ethical, compliant operations, supporting net zero ambitions and responsible business delivery.
- Developing high‑performing teams through inclusive leadership, capability building and continuous improvement.
- Managing commercial delivery through robust contract administration, commercial reporting, valuations and cost control.
- Overseeing claims, change control and certification to achieve timely, compliant project completion.
- Inspiring high‑performing cost teams, embedding continuous improvement and best‑practice delivery.
- Driving process innovation, enhanced cost management services and net zero carbon outcomes.
You’ll Need To Have
- Degree in quantity surveying, cost management or equivalent professional discipline.
- Chartered membership (MRICS or equivalent) with continued professional development.
- Strong commercial acumen, bidding experience and contract law capability.
- Proven leadership of diverse teams, senior stakeholders and sustainability‑led outcomes.
