Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Managing client‑focused delivery, providing strategic direction, commercial governance and contract execution.
  • Upholding integrity, driving ethical operations, net‑zero outcomes and accountability to Mace values.
  • Developing high‑performing teams, embedding continuous improvement, innovation and excellence in cost management.
  • Managing contract administration, valuations, variations, certifications and final account agreement.
  • Providing robust cost control, reporting, change management and claims evaluation.
  • Managing and developing cost management teams, driving performance, capability and continuous improvement.
  • Building trusted stakeholder relationships, delivering value, transformation and net‑zero focused outcomes.

You’ll Need To Have:

  • Proven commercial management experience delivering outstanding client service across complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of cost, programme, risk, change control and diverse contract forms.
  • Digitally confident, analytical negotiator with working knowledge of BIM applications.
  • Awareness of industry best practice, sustainability, social value and carbon reduction outcomes.
