The project involves providing crucial engineering and design review services to a new generation nuclear reactor build with a combined value in excess of 3 billion Euros. You will deliver this key scope of work side by side with the contract project managers, managing closely the interfaces with engineering and other areas of the project, ensuring governance and stakeholder management is diligently complied with.
You will be responsible for contract management of a large section of the scope covered by two high value contracts, administered under NEC3 PSC terms and in accordance with regulatory and governance requirements. Our team is based across offices in Bristol and Bridgwater, embracing hybrid working principles.

You will guide Assistant Cost Consultants and other junior team members to identify and execute opportunities that improve cost management procedures, templates and products to enhance services provided to stakeholders.
You’ll need to have:
- Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
- Professional membership or working towards i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent), or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction.
- Experience of managing parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
- Experience of developing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
