The project: Our Mobility team is growing and we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planning Manager to join our team working in a programme assurance role on a high-value, multi-year programme highways project.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning integrated schedules across delivery partners.
  • Coordinating inputs from functions, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Reviewing challenge and assuring supplier programmes.
  • Supporting governance reviews and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Assessing commercial, time and cost impacts.
  • Managing baselines, risks and scenario planning.
  • Reporting performance, KPIs, threats and opportunities.
  • Applying P6, QSRA/QRA to optimise delivery.

You’ll need to have:

  • Experience of working to national highways' planning handbook.
  • Professional Membership.
  • Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the Highways sector.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
