Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. This is for 3-6 months on an FTC.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivery of technology projects in line with expectations for quality, scope, budgets and plans.
- Demonstrating knowledge and practical understanding of AI and data-enabled technology delivery, including the ability to manage AI projects through discovery, development, testing, deployment and adoption, working effectively with technical and business specialists.
- Managing third-party suppliers, delivery partners and professional services, ensuring clear outcomes, deliverables, commercial commitments, dependencies and performance are effectively managed and integrated into overall project delivery.
- Confidently engaging and communicating with senior and executive stakeholders, translating complex delivery, technology and AI topics into clear business implications, decisions and actions, and providing appropriate challenge and escalation where required.
- Shaping unstructured business challenges or technology changes into clear projects of work.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders across business and digital teams.
- Effectively managing project issues, risks and dependencies; proactively finding options and solutions.
- Mobilising, managing and developing project teams, including both internal and external resources.
- Communicating project status with stakeholders with support from the digital senior leadership team (SLT).
- Challenging business and digital stakeholders such that the best possible solution is delivered for Mace whilst balancing this against agreed plans and budgets.
