As part of your role, you will interface with a multi-disciplinary Digital Development team comprising data engineers, app developers and BI developers, and occasionally stakeholders from other organisations on larger programmes. You will be part of the global Digital Development community, sharing knowledge and experience with other digital professionals. The role will support delivery on some of the largest commercial and infrastructure projects in the world.
You’ll be responsible for:

- Supporting the management and optimisation of the organisation’s DevOps estate, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and associated cloud services.
- Maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub, ensuring reliable and consistent deployment of solutions.
- Implementing and managing automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to support scalable and repeatable platform operations.
- Supporting environment management, release processes, and deployment governance across development, test, and production environments.
- Managing and monitoring platform health, including logging, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Supporting identity and access management, including integration with Azure AD and role-based access controls.
- Collaborating with engineering, support, and delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from development to live service.
- Acting as a technical escalation point for complex DevOps and platform-related issues.
- Supporting compliance with organisational security policies and audit requirements.
You’ll need to have:
- Prior experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role, ideally supporting M365, Power Platform, or Azure-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Experience managing and supporting Power Platform assets (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Familiarity with M365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Understanding of environment management, deployment pipelines, and release processes.
- Experience supporting production systems, including incident management and root cause analysis.
- Aware of security principles, governance and controls required for enterprise platforms.
- Desirable, but not mandatory, to hold a relevant certification such as Microsoft DevOps engineer expert.
