The Role:
This specific role will be responsible for coordinating asset data in the client HS2’s AIMS database system. Working closely with the design team and Subcontractors to maintain consistency and compliance to the client’s Asset Information Requirements. Your role will be a key part of the MDJV BIM/Information Management Team where you will be supported and supporting the BIM project team throughout the delivery of Birmingham Curzon Street Station.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register assets and acquire UAID’s from HS2 AIMS system.
- Reviewing assets generated from Supply Chain and ensuring the assets are in compliance with HS2’s AIMS database of asset types.
- Compliance checks of the asset types in the Design Responsibility Matrix (DRM) and Modelling Requirements Table (MRT) with HS2’s AIMS.
- Track and manage changes in Asset data (removal, addition, modifying) from the Supply Chain in AIMS.
- Ensuring the asset’s attributes are being populated and met for each type of asset listed in AIMS, for each of the stage of works.
- Ensuring the relationships between assets are up to date in HS2’s AIMS database.
- Coordinate with various construction disciplines such as M&E/Rail Systems to generate assets in AIMS.
- Maintaining/updating the Asset Decision Log.
- Assuring BIM models have the right asset data.
- Assuring MDJV owned BIM models and Models created on behalf of Supply chain have relevant Asset Data including attributes.
- Assuring documents are tagged to relevant UAIDs.
- Assuring CDM risks are tagged to relevant UAIDs.
Qualifications:
- Academic qualifications of HNC/HND (or higher) ideally in a construction-based subject.
- Recent experience of relevant construction projects.
