Project: A major infrastructure project that will be contributing to the upgrade of the UK\’s strategic defence capability.
The Project Security Manager will ensure that the project is delivered securely and provide assurance to client functional security leads on a regular basis.
The Security Project Manager will assist the Programme Security Lead/Operations Director in managing and implementing security across secure projects and provide assurance to clients regularly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Work with project managers to ensure security processes are considered and implemented across the site and other related locations.
- Maintain and review security management plans for the project.
- Maintain an accurate security incident log and conduct incident investigations when necessary.
- Promote security awareness across the project to foster a positive security culture.
- Carry out security audits and prepare assurance reports as needed.
- Meet with external stakeholders and consultants, provide security advice, and maintain relationships with client security functions.
- Support and guide the project team to ensure adherence to contractual security obligations.
- Monitor personnel mobilisation and demobilisation.
- Support incident and emergency preparedness for the project sites.
- Promote Mace Services.
About you
You have relevant degree qualifications or BTEC / HNC and possess working knowledge of current security policies and procedures for various Government Departments, along with a proven track record in managing client relationships. You are digitally savvy, capable of building lasting client relationships, and leading motivated teams. You will have a background in security, construction, or project management and be eager to grow your career with the opportunities Mace offers.
