Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

The Transformation PMO Lead provides assurance, governance and oversight for business‑critical programmes at Sizewell C, embedding best‑practice standards, tools and processes, tracking key milestones and delivering robust reporting to support informed decision‑making across the Transformation Portfolio.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Supporting the Transformation Portfolio Manager with PMO activities including RAID management, reporting and maintaining a fully integrated SZC Transformation plan.
  • Reviewing and validating programme and project plans, establishing a centralised, independent mechanism for visibility, tracking and escalation.
  • Monitoring and confirming stage gates and key milestones across all strategic projects within the strategic plan.
  • Managing portfolio‑level reporting, including regular updates to the transformation SteerCo and escalation of risks or issues as required.
  • Overseeing interdependencies across the transformation portfolio, proactively identifying and flagging potential conflicts or impacts.
  • Managing the monthly portfolio dashboard and supporting the Transformation Portfolio Manager with portfolio communications, stakeholder engagement and ad‑hoc reporting requirements.

You’ll Need To Have:

  • Degree‑educated with strong foundations in project and portfolio management methodologies.
  • Proven PMO leadership, setting delivery standards, governance frameworks and assurance across complex portfolios.
  • Strong planning, RAID management and change control capability across interdependent initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; professional project management certification desirable.
