Overview Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Mace is currently recruiting qualified architects for our central government team to support our lead designers in the delivery of their projects consisting of new builds, extensions, remodels and refurbishments, space planning and workplace design with project values between £500k and £250m. The role is UK based and we welcome applications from all UK regions.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Directing and managing pre-construction and developing design to meet contract requirements.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
  • Driving continuous improvement and business initiatives aligned with net zero goals.
  • Monitoring outputs, reporting progress and maintaining compliance with standards.
  • Providing technical advisory post-tender and support design workshops.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, ISO 19650, and building safety act.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Revit and manage reporting information.
  • Fostering effective relationships and stakeholder engagement across all project phases.

You’ll Need To Have:

  • Part 3 qualified, ARB or CIAT registered professional.
  • Proficient in BIM and Revit, digitally savvy.
  • Experienced in public and private sector multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong client relationship and team leadership skills.
