The project: Our client is looking to transform their campus and how they operate while maintaining a world-class science and research capability, retaining and developing specialist expertise, in a collaborative and health and safety conscious way. We are delivery partners on their complex, 10 to 15-year, multi-billion-pound programme to redevelop their science campus near Weybridge in Surrey working collaboratively with the client and other partners for technical, cost assurance and technical assurance responsibilities.
Delivery accountabilities span the full lifecycle of projects within the overall programme which encompasses sub-programmes for enabling infrastructure (both temporary and permanent) and new science capability in a live environment on a site of national importance, maintaining logistics and operations at all times.
This role supports the development of information management strategies and standards, delivering effective IM across projects. It provides IM training, leads project delivery, and implements ISO 19650 aligned processes to ensure accurate, assured information for digital delivery and successful programme outcomes.
You will be based on our client's site in Weybridge, Surrey minimum 3 days per week, and occasionally Moorgate, London.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Defining and delivering IM strategies, standards (ink ISO19650) and processes for client-facing projects and programmes.
- Establishing and managing the project/programme IM function following the strategy, standards and processes set.
- Training project/programme colleagues in IM practices and processes and driving awareness and continuous improvement.
- Managing the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts that are submitted and stored.
- Line managing, coaching and supporting the IM Team working on the project, as direct and indirect reports.
- Contributing to global digital centre of excellence including body of knowledge, processes, case studies.
- Contributing to bids in terms of IM strategies and solutions.
- Contributing to the set-up, implementation and development of the common data environment (CDE).
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll need to have:
- Technical IM qualifications with expertise in Aconex, Viewpoint and CDE systems.
- Strong experience in IM, document control and ISO 19650 standards.
- Skilled communicator and negotiator, effective with stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborative, organised and able to train others while managing processes independently.
