For our clients in the sector, this means delivering complex projects and programmes delivering low-carbon technologies and infrastructure. This role will be at the forefront of this, contributing to the delivery of construction projects increasing capacity on the network, and connecting new generation and storage into the grid. Working closely with client and contractor teams, you will manage and drive project controls activities on major projects and programmes. This may include the set-up of project controls functions, delivery of day-to-day services, and continuous improvement of existing operations to enable greater productivity and performance across the portfolio. You’ll be responsible for:Monitoring the quality of project performance data, quality reporting and leading on improvement activities for clear project status and preparation for regulatory submissions.Building reports and local dashboards to meet Infrastructure Delivery reporting requirements (Portfolio management reports, DRM reports, ET Exec, etc.).Ensuring the integrity of project performance data by ensuring adequate governance and controls are in place for data which is required for the project and ID Leadership team.Managing the timely delivery of the reporting calendar that meets the ongoing needs of Infrastructure delivery.To lead cross functional work with across other business teams to improve the integrity of the source data.Developing and deliver reporting tools and models for day-to-day management of the data required to satisfy ID reporting requirements.Ensuring data is managed to be compliant with the National Grid Data Management minimum standards, principles and guidelines.Accountable for ensuring data publications comply with the National Grid Data Management minimum standards, principles and guidelines.Supporting from an ID perspective with the initial needs cases, final needs cases and UM Re-openers.Supporting the compilation of data and agenda for the Infrastructure Delivery Project Board and Monthly Performance Meetings.Supporting the Regional Project Controls Manager with compiling the future workbook, working with the Training and Competence Manager to determine the recruitment needs, feeding the data into the BIO workforce planning team.You’ll need to have:Strong ability to work to tight deadlines with an excellent attention to detail.Demonstrable experience of analysing complex data and data structures to provide value-adding solutions and outputs to meet business requirements.Excellent knowledge and understanding of Office 365 applications.
