Senior Commercial Manager - Consultancy - Water Sector2/3 days per week onsite in Peterborough, will taper off as project progresses Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition.

The Senior Commercial Consultancy Manager provides alliance‑wide leadership on performance assurance, cost control and reporting across this large scale utilities project in the region.
You will be delivering a single, trusted view of commercial and operational performance, strengthening governance, transparency and decision‑making, and enabling successful AMP8 outcomes through consistent standards and collaboration.
Working collaboratively with Anglian Water and Alliance partners - including the NEC ECC Project Manager, AWS Commercial Performance Manager, Programme Delivery Manager, and Delivery Assurance Manager - the role supports the achievement of required outputs, outcomes, and efficiencies under AMP8.
You’ll be responsible for: Establishing a single, assured alliance‑wide performance truth.
Managing commercial governance, controls, reporting and targets.
Ensuring consistency across cost, forecasting and change.
Providing clear leadership to regional and central commercial teams.
Aligning delivery with Anglian Water frameworks.
Driving insight, continuous improvement and value.
Championing proactive risk and opportunity management.
Embedding safety first and a zero‑accident culture.
