The project: We are supporting a major client in the maritime sector to develop their capital investment programme over the next 5 years.

Reporting to the clients Group Project Control Manager this role offers flexible working, but the successful individual must be available to work on site 3/4 days per week within the client’s project delivery environment.

The role will work alongside and integrate with all delivery partners of the ports projects, including the client team - PMs, commercial, finance, procurement functions, supply chain and other key delivery partners as required.

Experience of working in an operational project delivery environment with multiple stakeholders is vital for the position.

You’ll be responsible for: Previous experience in a similar project controls position, with proficient use of MS Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI.

Working knowledge, or awareness of generic project control toolsets - P6, SAP.

Able to manage to specific delivery timescales within a highly complexity projects/ programmes environment.

Able to play a key role in a multidisciplinary PMO team to communicate overall programme progress and status to multiple layers of the client/delivery organisations.

Strong commercial, financial and senior stakeholder management capability.

You will support the HUB PMO and Project Controls Director with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.

The analysis, interpretation, and communication of key project data to multiple stakeholders within the delivery and client organisation.

With special emphasis on the attention to details and checking project controls inputs, recording and reports produced.
