Sizewell C (SZC) will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, playing a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.
You’ll be responsible for: Delivering project climate and social value strategies.
Agreeing outcomes and assure team delivery.
Providing measurable, purpose‑led sustainability outcomes.
Managing technical sustainability expertise and innovation.
Advising stakeholders on complex sustainability issues.
Supporting work winning through bids and client engagement.
Championing Mace leadership in climate sustainability.
Developing inclusive teams delivering net zero.
You’ll need to have: Experience in an environmental management role. knowledge of environmental legislation in the UK.
Awareness of the client/contractor relationship and legal responsibilities under the construction (Design and Management) regulations 2015.
Experience of operating within an environmental management system (EMS) conforming to recognised standards (BS EN ISO14001:2004.
