Plans, monitors, and manages the completion of the MEP installation and testing, using installation expertise and management processes. Manages onsite and liaises with project subcontractors, sub-subcontractors, and suppliers. Accountable for programme, HSW, and quality deliverables of their package or system. Coordinates and manages onsite interfaces between packages. Liaises and coordinates with key project stakeholders, design CMT, and construction teams. Establishes risk identification and the development and implementation of mitigation plans. Supervises and promotes the use of modern construction methods, digital technologies, and prefabrication. Provides comprehensive onsite implementation of Mace\'s standards and project strategies. Works collaboratively towards the net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for managing associated emissions and reductions during delivery. Requirements: Advanced knowledge of a technical trade (Building Services Engineering), including installation and testing methods, best practices, and prefabrication for supervision, planning, and quality control. Proficient knowledge of other technical trades, including basic installation techniques, prefabrication, and best practices for collaboration and coordination. Proficient understanding of construction build elements, sequencing, dependencies, and integration with build elements. Basic knowledge of commercial management to assist with control of packages, such as notices, goods received, and contract charges. Proficient knowledge of planning processes, key construction release requirements, critical path systems, scheduling, and commissioning activities. Proficient knowledge of health, safety, and welfare core elements, including working at height, electrical safety, fire safety, logistics, and lifting. Proficient knowledge of quality assurance and commissioning of systems. Proficient knowledge of digital setting out and scanning technologies. Basic understanding of system integration through Cause & Effect, BMS, and IST periods. Experience in the relevant M&E construction sector. Ability to explore innovative approaches, utilize new technology, and help others adapt. Effective communication skills, confident presentation, and adaptability to changing priorities. Leadership qualities, responsibility-taking, ethical conduct, and resourcefulness. Resource management and stakeholder collaboration skills. Ability to coach and support others, persuade, and influence. Completed technical or engineering apprenticeship or equivalent. Relevant certifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3, BTECH/HNC, CSCS Card, SMSTS. Preferred: Professional registration with CIOB.
