  • You will work as part of the construction delivery team, taking direction from the project senior leadership team and other construction managers.
  • You will build relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • You will build a strong working relationship with your clients and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
  • Delivers the commercial management of subcontract packages
  • Supports the procurement of subcontract packages and materials
  • Assists the commercial team including administering client and subcontract changes.
  • Contributes into the risk and opportunity reporting.
  • Mitigates risks and protect package/project margin.
  • Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Assists with monthly client application.
  • Administers subcontract payments.
  • Works with team members providing operational delivery of team/regional strategy etc.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

  • Proficient in MS office tools.
  • Administering monthly commercial calendar.
  • Values sustainability and social responsibility.
  • Supporting commercial reporting.
  • Support commercial reporting.
  • Understand commercial procedures.
  • Develop technical knowledge.
  • Understand H&S process and regulations.
  • Acts respectfully, creating an environment for open and honest communication.

  • Degree in quantity surveying/commercial management (or equivalent).
  • CSCS.

You’ll also have:

  • Working towards membership of MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the construct sector.
  • Construction management expertise.
  • Developing commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience leading parts of construction projects within large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
